Car Pooling a Good Option for Bruny Island !

Following contact by BIEN member Tony Korab, the creators of the car pooling web site CoolPool Tas have included a hub for Bruny Island as well as the main town names. So now when you or your friends are looking for a ride between Bruny Island and Hobart, or anywhere in Tasmania in fact, there is a central place to search.

To begin using this option simply go to the CoolPoolTas website  and register either as a driver or a passenger. (We suggest you enter Bruny Island as your suburb) There after it is simply a matter of posting a ride offer or request.

The site has helpful information and guidelines about carpooling and for regular commuters there is an extra feature of Hub2home which is designed to link people travelling the same route on a frequent basis.

The more Bruny Island people who register and post rides the more successful this option will work so we urge you all to register now!
